Continuous Professional Development

Visible Thinking

Teachers and leaders in elementary, intermediate, and secondary departments have been fully involved in two dynamic workshops to implement visible thinking strategy in classrooms. It is a method of helping our students become better learners and more thoughtful. It is a broad and flexible framework for enriching classroom learning in the content area and fostering students’ intellectual development at the same time.

Believing in the essence of school self-evaluation and the need to have an accurate picture of the quality of teaching and learning in AMS, continuous professional development has been established. Leaders, coordinators, and teachers meet weekly on Wednesdays for one or two hours to present workshops aimed at improving teachers’ performance and raising standards of student’s achievement.
